Organic food and culture

Supernatural Works grows art and design like organic food – grounded in nature, nourished by spirituality and crafted to feed the imagination

Through exhibitions, performance and storytelling in everyday places Supernatural Works weaves food stories that enchant, uplift, and honour God’s provision and creation.

Art, Design and Performance influencing local and organic food production

Supernatural Works began in 2006 in Byron Bay, inspired by a deep connection to the organic lifestyle. The name Supernatural was born from our work with Miessence, a pioneering brand of certified organic skincare and health products. In those early days, we sold at local markets.
We then emerged into digital media, connecting with the community and supporting farmers, creatives, and eco-conscious businesses in the Byron Bay area.
The name Supernatural was inspired by our beginnings in Certified Organic Skincare—born from a username that soon grew into a philosophy. From the start, we collaborated with local farmers and artists, helping ethical businesses share their stories with the community. We helped local farmers advertise their certified organic logos on printed banners and other marketing products.
In 2012, Supernatural Works spread its wings to Sydney, bringing that same spirit of creativity, sustainability, and connection to a wider audience. Today, we work with businesses across Australia and beyond—brands that care for people and the planet.
Our mission is simple: to create communication that feels as authentic as it is powerful. Whether through social media, copywriting, or design, we help sustainable and creative businesses enchant a global audience while staying true to their roots.

At Supernatural Works, we believe the extraordinary happens when creativity and sustainability work hand in hand.—it’s about creating extraordinary results by staying true to what is natural, authentic, and sustainable.

Supernatural Works was founded on the belief that creativity and sustainability are deeply connected. The name Supernatural reflects our commitment to the extraordinary—crafting strategies and designs that feel almost magical—while staying grounded in what is natural: fair trade, organic principles, and promoting businesses that care for people and the planet.
